The Fort Morgan Museum tells the story of Fort Morgan, Morgan County, and NE Colorado. We have bones, arrowheads, an amazing soda fountain and many more items as part of our permanent exhibits.

Mission

The Fort Morgan Museum tells the story of Fort Morgan and Morgan County through permanent and temporary exhibits that showcase the museum's collection.

Research Collections

The Bloedorn Research Center is the primary research facility in the County. It houses a good sized microfilm collection along with books and primary material about the area. Whether your research is genealogy, Phase I environmental impact studies, background information to nominate a building for an historical register, or a score of other topics let the staff help you with your project.

Programs

The Museum's education department is always interested in programming for your classroom or community group. In addition we have two monthly programs. Brown Bag is a free lecture series at noon on the second Tuesday of the month. Museum Mornings is held on the third Saturday of the month and tend to be more hands on than lecture.
